NITTANY LION INN AS A RESIDENCE HALL
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for undergraduate students! The Nittany Lion Inn at Penn State is a student residence hall at University Park for the 2020-21 academic year.
The Inn, located in the northwestern corner of campus and across from the West Halls residential community, and is in very close proximity to Pattee and Paterno Libraries, Rec Hall, Kern, and the School of Hospitality Management. A total of 208 rooms are available for upper-class undergraduate students.

STUDENT ROOMS
For the 2020-21 academic year, each room will be single-occupancy, with these features:

The Nittany Lion Inn offers a variety of public common spaces, including the Fireside Lobby and Reading Rooms on several floors. The front desk will offer student support services, including mail/packages services, caddies of cleaning supplies, and board games.
Resident Assistants will be on-site to support students’ daily residence needs. Students are invited to participate in the West Halls Residence Association.
Each student will be provided with a Tide Laundry plan for up to 20 pounds of laundry weekly (the average amount of laundry a student generates each week), specific program details will be provided at the beginning of the fall semester. Students are responsible for providing linen, the room assignment posted in eLiving will indicate whether the bed size is full/double, queen, or king size. View bed sizes by room number:

GENERAL WEST HOUSING AREA INFORMATION

- Hungry students can visit the West Food District, which offers the Waring Square food court (try the famous Chocolate Chip Cookie!) and the West Wing (a la carte sandwiches, subs, salads, sushi, and desserts). Also located in Waring Commons is Sisu, a convenience store, and a We Proudly Brew Starbucks Coffee Bar.
- Just a short distance from West Housing Area is Recreation Building (Rec Hall), Pattee and Paterno Libraries, and the most famous icon of Penn State - the Nittany Lion Shrine.
- Students can also visit North Halls’ Warnock Commons for additional dining options, as well as Panera at Otto's Cafe in the Kern Building and Cafe Laura in the Mateer Building.
