Hastings, Snyder, & Stone Halls

Hastings, Snyder, and Stone Halls are traditional residence halls located in the northeastern quad of East Housing Area. All buildings are coed and feature "double, traditional residence hall" rooms. Supplemental housing is also located on every floor. Buildings feature common floor bathrooms.

  • Hastings and Stone: coed on the floor - male and female students are assigned to sections of the floor, with a designated bathroom on the floor for male and female residents.
  • Snyder: coed by floor - male or female students are assigned exclusively to each floor, with one bathroom available per floor.

Hastings Hall, built in 1964, was named after Daniel H. Hastings, the 21st Governor of Pennsylvania (1895-1899).

Snyder Hall, built in 1965, was named after Simon Snyder, the 3rd Governor of Pennsylvania (1808-1817).

Stone Hall, built in 1964, was named after William A. Stone, the 22nd Governor of Pennsylvania (1899-1903).
