West Housing Area
West Housing Area is located on the north-western side of campus. With Pattee Library and Paterno Library to the east and the Recreation Building (Rec Hall) to the west, the West Housing Area is just a short walk away from many of Penn State’s learning and sports facilities. And our famous Nittany Lion Shrine is in a wooded area within view of the halls! West Halls area was constructed in a traditional collegiate residence style. Brick buildings open onto a quad with symmetrical walkways and arches that lead to the heart of campus. Room accommodations include regular double, small double, and triple rooms.
